The Los Angeles Radiological Society (LARS) has long held the standard that its continuing medical education programs be free of commercial bias.

In accordance with the disclosure policy of LARS as well as standards set forth by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), everyone in a position to control the content of this educational activity has been asked to disclose relevant financial relationships they have with any commercial interest producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients. Such disclosure is not intended to suggest or condone bias in any presentation, but is elicited to provide those attending with information that might be of potential importance to their evaluation of a given presentation.

LARS Continuing Education Committee (CEC) has reviewed the disclosed relationships and has communicated its policies regarding disclosure, conflict of interest, content validity, and the definintion of CME to each speaker and activity planner.  Additionally, LARS CEC will review presentation materials in advance of the conference to ensure all presentations are free of conflict of interest.

Conference participants are asked to bring any perceived instances of bias and/or product promotion to the attention of LARS CEC via conference evaluation forms.

Following is a list of faculty and conference planners that have disclosed relationships with commercial interests for review and resolution.  No relevant financial relationships exist for those members of the conference faculty, education committee and its subcommittee members not listed.  This list will be updated as moderators or other relevant participants are confirmed.
